Homefront 40’s event

Love Northallerton – Northallerton BID want to say a huge thank you to everyone that made our 40’s Day event such a special day!

Sunday 4th June 2023 was our second large-scale FREE event of the year. Northallerton BID organized and hosted a Homefront 1940s event, where we captured the history of wartime Britain in the 1940s.

The event was hosted on Northallerton High Street and welcomed all members of the public. We hosted a wide range of army replica vehicles and classic cars from the era, alongside free children’s games and live music entertainment. Additionally, the event increased Northallerton’s footfall and the reputational awareness of the High Street and all the fantastic local independents.
